I gave over a 100 hours to friends and family ... I waded thru their home movies editing and condensing to dvd's so they could give them for gifts. Pain in the ass but the phone calls today made me feel good.

That is pretty cool. Several years ago I took my parents home movies and put them on VHS.

VHS? Hmmm, must have been longer ago than I thought.

Besides giving gifts, I sent the following funnies to friends via myspace or emails (Gotta have a variety depending on their personalities).

Charlie Brown's Heavy Metal Christmas
https://youtube.com/watch?v=4AC3sZB-v7Q

I have no idea if any of these are old or not, but I think they will at least bring a few smiles.

Gave my son his second christmas but this is the first that he really enjoyed. He loved the paper as much as he did the toys.

Also gave something special. My mother in law is now living with us. She was born and raised in Cuba, and this was the first year she has EVER seen a Christmas tree with wrapped presents under it. And she was sooooo happy that some of them were for her. She had no idea until xmas morning.

Donated time cooking at local homeless shelter....
Cooked up turkeys, beef roasts, tons of trimmings, then baked a couple dozen pies etc... Then served to many of the local homeless here in Pasadena CA over the weekend.
Most rewarding thing Ive ever done...

Went shooting some sporting clays with my boys and step-bro...
Ran some RC Boats too this weekend... Its our off season and
we are doing R&D on a couple of new things....

We cooked up TAMALES again this year....
Tuesday then cooked up a couple of my patented "Leg of Lambs"
for our family dinner...

We gave away graphic'ed up hoodys that we made at the shop
and everyone just freaked over...
and in the pockets of yon said hoodys I adorned gift cards
aimed toward the recipient...
also.. LED flashlights and headlamps...

Was a very rewarding Christmas....
now headin' to Parker for a week for more fun in the sun !!

Boyfriend got:
-2 commissioned copies of his favorite Heroes paintings (the eclipse and Peter flying)
-Sterling silver ring w/the Flash logo
-2 new glass pieces from Shivadas (a spoon and a sherlock)
-All 3 seasons of Arrested Development
-An original Skaara action figure from the Stargate movie
-Metal Gear Solid Snake t-shirt
-LED faucet light from Think Geek (the red/blue one)
-Astronaut ice cream for his stocking - double chocolate chip flavor
-A box set of PVC figures of all the DC Flash characters
-Super Mario Bros. soundfx keychain

I think that was it.

The boyfriend's mom & dad got:
-Leakfrog (their basement flooded earlier this year, so here's hoping this will help prevent it)
-USB fiberoptic Christmas tree for the mom's desk at work
-LED blow on/off candles
-Sudoko puzzle
-A wok

My mom got a gift basket with her favorite gourmet coffee, chocolates, cookies, etc.

Another friend of mine is getting Tetris refrigerator magnets.

I also got the dogs a bunch of new toys and chewies (we even found pigskin candy canes), and the Boxer got an OSU dog hoodie because she's a fucking wimp about cold weather. Thank god the Shar Pei isn't as prissy.

Also spent some time in the nursing home where my aunty is chatting with some old folk who have noone
