Guys, in your professional opinion, which drive system is best for this type of cars (sport sedan)

4WD or RWD ?

Does 4WD give a much better handling/stability?

My parents have a Subaru Legacy 3.0l 6 cyl boxer that I just took on a 1,000km trip around Europe. Absolutely fantastic handling, cornering and high speed stability. No matter what road conditions to toss at it, the 4 points stick to the road like mad. 4WD is the reason why I would seriously consider the RS4.

The BWM offers 4WD option (xdrive)

Though not on M3/M5.

Canīt agree more ...

I have my new C-Class for 6 months now, and the interior sucks compared to the previous version.

Looking forward to buy a E or CLS. C-Class .... no thanks not anymore

I wish they did offer it on the M series.

How would you choose and why?
need you even ask that question? the m3 dosent even compare to the c63. maybe the m5 or m6, but no m3.

I've bought the RS4 about 3 months ago and it drives absolutely amazing. I love the car but RWD is much more fun if you wanna go sideways in the corners. Maybe I need to get used to the AWD a bit more but it's much easier to drift in my RWD cars (obviously). The roads are quite wet here now and in my RS4 I get some understeer which is obvious a lot saver than oversteer So I would definitely say that AWD is safer but what do you want? Safe or fun?

RWD...you haven't lived until you powerslide a 2 ton overpowered luxury liner through the twistys..

Drifting and going sideways on high speed cornering is what i am afraid of.

What if you lose control of the car? Go into a spin and hit someone/something.

Exactly. These cars are expensive and hitting something or even clipping would cost a lot of $$$ to fix

Then you should purchase a nice minivan.

And I think you already know the answer to your second question.
