'That mishap led an hysterical' Jacko to make a beeline for the plastic surgeon for a bit of quickie repair work' the insider claims.

At the beginning of week, shocking pictures were floated on the internet showing the 'Bad' singer trying to conceal a mouth smothered in plasters under sunglasses and a hat.

He was pictured enjoying a rare shopping trip to a Vegas book store with his three children Prince, 10, Paris, nine, and five-year-old Prince Michael II (aka Blanket).

An insider says the star is particularly careful of his 'fragile face' following repeated surgeries, claiming: 'That is a key reason Jackson always uses his own makeup people for any appearances, especially for events like his recent cover story photo shoot for Ebony magazine.'

A spokesman for the star reportedly denied he had surgery yesterday.
