Outlook or Thunderbird?

I recently switched from Outlook to Mozilla thunderbird (my office uses it and i've grown to like it). man, didn't know what I was missing, It's so much faster and leaner.

What email client are you using?

Plus better spam control, among other little quirks.

Thunderbird, definitely.

#1 - It isn't Micro-slave made
#2 - I am betting there aren't as many viruses targeting it
#3 - It works
#4 - It is free

Thunderbird for professional.

Gmail via Firefox for personal.

Mozilla > (Microsoft)^2 where applicable, imho.

Spam control is the best i've ever seen, it's fast as hell, doesn't use massive cpu like outlook (you hardly know it's running). And all-in-all the GUI isn't too different so you get used to it real fast. i think the GUI is actually a little simpler to use actually, laid out better, features aren't buried they used common sense when it was designed.

Outlook. Why? Because I can synchnise my agenda with my (winodws mobile) phone.

As far as spamcontrol. I have my host(isprime) take care of that.

Thunderbird has some quirks I don't like, but in general does a lot better than outlook.

I haven't gotten the spam system tweaked in at all - any suggestions on that? I'
m too scared of missing real emails and losing business.

WHat is this Spamato like?

I used to use elm..
then mutt, since elm wasn't being maintained anymore since like 1832 orso

But I finally tried Thunderbird. It's pretty good, been using it for about a year now.
Though mind you, I only use it as an e-mail client, since I usually don't like the applications that try to do everything.

I've been using the newer Windows Live Mail client... pretty happy with it.

Great spam protection, runs a lot smoother than Outlook used too, and GUI wise running under Vista cleaner than both Outlook or Thunderbird.
