Frankly, i hope this country will get nuked 10x and learn a lesson. 50% of the world's military budget and tens of millions of psychos carrying a firearm at any given time and they still don't get it.

Who's behind 9/11= USA

Who's behind Virginia Tech= USA

Who's behind Israel= USA

Who's behind Muslim terrorists= USA

USA USA USA USA USA, the world's top war monger and leading sponsor of international terrorism.

Wow, you really hate Glocks don't you? It's a shame, the design of the Glock is really the best that has been invented yet. I can completely strip mine in less than 2 minutes and deep clean every part. Even gunsmiths have a hard time compeltely disassembling an H&K. Not saying H&K's are bad guns, they just charge way to much and I don't see why. They're big and bulky and, unless you get the tactical or better, they have a squishy trigger.

Not to mention, I can stand thumb safetys. It took me so long to get used to shooting my 1911 after shooting the Glock for so long. I kept turning the safety on while I was shooting, until I finally started to get my muscle memory in to keep it on top of the safety. Needless to say I have a permanent scar just past my thumb from the slide constantly tagging me.

Ask any African, South American, European, Asian about US foreign policy (a direct consequence of the fucked up war monger mentality exposed in this thread).

I'm just disgusted.

Another war monger will get elected next year, this will never end until the world unites to sanction the US.

Bush is a mirror to US society. Idiotic, arrogant, war mongering, and hypocrite.

Bring back the Founding Fathers, modesty, thrift, values, peace and the love for freedom. Power corrupted the US.

It's amazing how the US has single handedly ruined the entire world and brought war to everyone. There was never any war or fighting in the history of the world until the US showed up and created it. We should be ashamed of ourselves for bring hostility to a world that was so at peace.

in regards to the permit, PA is a "Shall Issue" state. meaning that if there is no criminal reason to disqualify you from owning/carrying, they cannot deny you, and thanks to insta-check there is no waiting period either.

i like it that way. it preserves a reasonable level of freedom pertaining to my second ammendment right.

It's a double edged sword on that man. I agree that as long as there is no criminal history to prevent someone from owning or carrying a gun, everyone should be eligible. However, I do think that there should be mandatory training in order to purchase a gun, and that should be coupled with mandatory recurring training.

Jesus, the things I've seen people do with guns simply amazes me. It almost seems that a large population of gun owners traded their common sense in the purchase. Especially if you are planning on carrying a gun, should take the steps to properly educate yourself on the skills needed to use it without taking out half a city block while trying to defend yourself.

it's not that i disagree with you, i have met my fair share of idiots carrying guns as well, and i despise them. however, for me, the purity of that freedom means alot.

but one thing that i am sure of, is that those idiots would get guns either way. wether or not they had the legal permits.

i pride myself on being a very safe, responsible gun owner, and whenever i see someone behaving in a dangerous or stupid way with a gun, i make it a point to try to educate them on what they are doing wrong. unfortunately, most of the time it seems they are not doing it as a product of being uninformed on gun safety, but rather intentionally, because they are simply asswipes. so i am not neccesarily convinced that those kind of requirements prior to obtaining a ccw or the weapon itself would make all that much difference.

I have variant 7 on my HKusp which is DA only with no saftey no de-cocking I have a 3.2 trigger on there now once you learn the "click" after firing and only bringing your trigger half way back rapid shots become one on top of the other... thats the toughest part to teach to people.. they always want to bring the trigger all the way out and get a bit of push on the gun again with rapid so shots end up all over...

I know what you mean though... the USP in stock mode can get confusing when going through mags.. specially cause mag dump is on trigger guard... I use my trigger finger to drop mag actually... bad habit I know but only way I can drop a full size without breaking firing grip... if I go thumb I twist muzzle... im a small guy LOL......

btw I am going to make a video of a 18 year old girl thats never shot before.. me teaching her to draw from a ccw holster to 3 shots into the 10 ring at 10 yds in under 2 secs... with a 40... LOL see if she can do it in under 2 hours of training....

my top 3 rules..

finger off the trigger
finger off the trigger

finger off the trigger

I don't believe in gun safteys.. your finger is the only safety you need....

hey I will agree the glock is a very simple gun that will work 99.9% of the time... chances on any gun jamming or exploding on that "occasion" is slim to none if you ask me... but you know how instructors get they get favorites.. and certain gun companies pay them to preach about their guns to people...

look as much as I love HK I went with XD for my sub compact.. I just don't like the p2000... feels weird to me like a... dunno can;t put my finger on it but it just feels weird to me

No offense taken Bro. :)

My TRP is my fave gun, hands down. I love it, I've killed Hogs with it, I love it. The reason I can hit a gnat's ass at 25 feet with it, is the low tolerance of it's parts. It's a well made gun, but get it dirty, and it's jamming. I clean it after every 200 rounds to keep it perfect.

My GLOCK on the other hand, maybe every 1500 rounds or so, no problems at all with FTL, or stove pipping. Like that link I posted, treat it like shit, it will still fire.

If I'm using it, my life depends on it, and I want the most reliable gun I can carry.

what state are you in. how did you get your gun and carry CCW the same day? in all states I am certified to give ccw in you have to qualify with your weapon then go add it to the ccw which can take about a week then to get that gun added to your ccw...

in nevada you can only carry ccw the guns you have listed on your ccw card... I have 2 cards because they could not fit all my handguns on one card LOL...

just busting your balls I don't care if you carry ccw personally im all for it.. permit or not.. if you know how to use it carry it if you ask me.... might make little jackass 19 year old mall shooters think twice....

I have a Michigan CCW - I've had it for a while. The nice thing is once you have the permit, you can buy as many pistols as you want whenever you want, you just have to take them into the police dept. so they can "inspect" them within 10 days. My favorite part is with a MI ccw permit, you can cary as many pistols on you as you want. The license covers all of your pistols - no adding them to a list or anything.
