How can i find out what kind of RAM to get?

When i go to best buy i see all these different PC numbers and pin numbers. The computer itself is just a basic acer aspire.

when you click on my computer it tells you what you have, and the ram in your computer should have a sticker on it to tell you what kind you have so you knwo what to buy.

I remmeber best buy has a how to page on their site about ram.

http://www.bestbuy.ca/learnmore/buye...n=&langid =EN

hope that helps.

open up your computer, find out old ram, and write down what it says on it. if your really inexperienced, just take it with you to the store and they will find a match.

I've installed ram before on other computers. I just thought there might be a way without opening it up.
