i hate etrade..cause the one time i had made money on some stocks and went to sell..they locked me out of my account for a week.

a week later..im back in my account and the stock has dropped and has continued to be down.

its not even a lot of money...it just pisses me off
because there security is all BS...i faxed them something and they let me in a week later...if they were so worried i was doing something shady...a simple fax shouldnt solve it...so basically...i fuckin hate etrade

where you day trading? Apprently if you make more than 3 daytrades in a week your suppose to be flagged on every broker unless you have a margin account with 25k in it..

From what my trader friends tell me TOS (Think Or Swim) is the only way to go if you are an active trader.

I am an active trader myself and left Etrade (terrible platform) for Ameritrade Apex. The platform with Ameritrade is not bad but under heavy volume (fed days etc.) the entire amtd system locks up. I have lost a ton of money on those days.

I am switching to TOS over the coming weeks. Check them out.
