Well, even though people have been surprisingly civil in political threads like these lately, there still is a lot of pointless name calling and shit like that. For example, we could do without the "Paultard" comments... pretty unnecessary...

btw, Ron Paul can't control who supports him!

I went to a political rally that shall remain nameless in order to keep this thread going in the right direction. There were 5 Ron Paul supporters (visibly holding signs in direct site) out of the 10k-15k that were there.

Oh ya there were other supporters too...who heckled from behind the stage on the street. But were too scared to do it from the field. Most likely more Paultards.

What do you mean? Did I call you an idiot? If I did then my bad, cuz we don't need all that extra bullshit. Your opinion is just as good as mine and everyone else's on this board so we should be able to exchange ideas with each other in a respectful manner.

But when it's a "Would you hit it" thread then who gives a shit lol, anything goes I guess...

The conspiracy theories exist because the conspiracy theorists WANT them to exist, not because there is any compelling proof.

I'm sure you are mostly referring to the 9/11 conspiracy, in which I pretty much agree with you, but there are all kinds of conspiracies in this world... many of which have lots of compelling evidence to support them...

Ron Paul wins online polls by HUGE margins yet does not make a ding in offline polls yet his supporters claim not to be gaming the online polling system.

Is anything I've said incorrect? I HAVE YET to see the media label Ron Paul supporters ANYTHING. My labeling comes from observations...what its like looking at this thing from the outside. I call it like I see it as do millions of other people constantly being bombarded with Ron Paul propaganda garbage on the web.

Obama has a decent sized following and has never accepted a dime from lobbyist's or the corporations that they represent yet he is not seen as a wacko outsider.

The craziest thing about all of this is that if the Ron Paul supporters would just give me a minute to sit back, breath, and listen to what the man had to say I might support the cause. But when something is force fed down my throat...rabidly...I tend to fight back and reject whatever that thing is.

P.S. Ron Paul doesn't believe in net neutrality.

This just proves you dont look at offline polls. He is been up to 8% in national polls, no more than 15% seperating him from the leader, and the margin of error, oh yeah, much closer. He is winning Alaska in offline polls, over 11% in South Carolina in offline polls. Ignorance is bliss for you.

Ron Paul supporters dont SPAM your blogs, or yourself. Most likely its people against Ron Paul that engage in SPAM. If people bring him up in natural conversation its not spam.

What does that statement have to do with yours? Both are retarded.

Ron Paul is somewhat of a someone on the internet...but that's about it. Delusions of grandeur....Paultards.

Go outside of your home...get your fat ass out of your seat and ask someone on the outside world who Ron Paul is.

I weigh 170 pounds and travel the country a lot. Everywhere I go I see Ron Paul signs, theres no way to escape seeing his name. He is a Congressman from Texas not a "internet" celebrity. Those who oppose him think thats all it is, but you are wrong and it will show in ACTUAL polls, not 400 people phone polls. Just wait 2 weeks, bookmark this thread and let me know your reaction to early voting.

I think it is safe to say that the Republican nomination is still pretty much up in the air. It's a pretty tight race on the Republican side. I can't wait til the primaries...

Yes, we know that Ron Paul doesn't have much of a chance, but for some reason I have a feeling that he will at least do a lot better than people are expecting... and then hopefully he will run as an Independent...
