What was even more amazing than the Dolphins actually winning a game this season is the Bucs finally ran a kickoff for a touchdown! Their first ever! It only took 30+ years to do it :)

Everyone who lives in S Fla knows that Wayne is a business man before he is a team owner. That being said, he bought the team for approx 130-something million. It is my understanding he is in negotiations for approx a billion. You do the math.
Not saying I am happy about this, just that I understand, he thinks business first (shit, so do most team owners). Growing up down here, I love and respect Wayne, and now that word is on the street he wants to sell, I want it sold. Let's get someone in there who now WANTS to own the team.

Oh, and my Finnies are taking down the Pat's and their quest for the 72 Dolphins title :upsidedow:helpme

A bitch can dream...

But by the same token I'm sure that the Dolphins didn't have an 0-13 start to the season planned. I'm sure they hoped for the best for THIS year in spite of what you'd have everyone believe. Yes, shit takes time, but no one in that organization was thinking "'yeah, it's okay if we lose every game this year because those trades we made last year should pay off by NEXT year."

lol

No I'm sure that nobody planned for things to be this bad. I'm also sure nobody planned to lose the starting QB, 3 quality RB's, 4 safeties, and Zach Thomas either. :Oh crap

We have an obvious lack of depth because of poor drafts in the past. We have a really good GM who just had his first draft for us this past year....hopefully one or two more offseasons and we'll be back to normal. :2 cents:

What Miami won A game? Miracles do happen...Unfortunately, it'll probably be the only miracle for this year, and next year! But, enjoy your moment!!

I think the Bucs along with the Browns are two very dangerous dark horses in the race this year. No one seems to even be considering them when talking about the superbowl, as if in the glorious warming glow of the light coming off the immaculate Patriots all others are just so many schools of minnows that merely need to be waded through. I think there are some huge surprises in store for many this year, not the least of which would be all those cocksure individuals whose psyches will be crushed should the Pats lose.

In fact, I have had the ridiculous notion floating around in the back of my head for a few months now that the Pats won't win the SB. I'm probably wrong, often am... but I can't ignore the feeling that one of the other teams are going to step up and blow everyone's mind.

I'm very impressed with Mueller's track record in Seattle and in New Orleans. (living in the NOLA area I used to read alot about him in the local papers)

Cameron will be back, today's win was all he needed I think.

As for the QB position, there are only 5-8 teams in the league that are really "set" at the QB position. That's a max of 8 teams out of 32. 24 teams have questions at the QB position.

There aren't many people out there who have a better track record of developing young QB's than Cam Cameron, which is a good reason to have him around for awhile.

I like Cam and think he will be good long term if he can handle the pressure. I think he made a huge mistake putting Beck in though. It may have set him way back.

Not likely. They will be much better next year.

Hard to say. Peyton Manning took a beating his first year, his team went 3-13, and he turned out ok :winkwink:

Beck is better than Lemon, even with his inexperience. The only reason Lemon gave us a better chance to win now is because of his ability to scramble. When you don't have a running game that the defense has to respect and they can blitz every down, having a guy who can run around to buy some time like that is essential.

Next year with Ronnie Brown back plus whatever other upgrades they make to the roster, Beck should be fine.

Also, you can't 100% rule out Trent Green coming back for another year. It was one of those fluke hits that knocked him out this year, and he may decide he can play some more.

That will make for one hell of a debate amongst sports people if the Pats go undefeated in the regular season and then lose in the playoffs.
If they win 17 games before they lose does that make them equal with the 1972 dolphins?

Heavily favored home teams seem to get beat in the playoffs every year. When Indy comes to town with their whole team healthy it's gonna be one hell of a fight. That game might get better ratings than the super bowl this year.
