I think he's getting through to a lot of the Neocons, they like most of what he says about restraining the Federal government, cutting spending etc. and has a principled record on that.. they like that

what they dont like is his foreign policy but im willing to bet that if you asked most sensible conservatives would they rather have a less spending, less taxes and less big government, to save America from bankruptcy and the collapse of the dollar which is a very real threat, most of them would stomach his foreign policy and take the other stuff

without Ron Paul conservatives will end up with another big government Republican i.e Mike Huckabee (look what 'Tax Hike Mike' did in Arkansas) or a flip flopping liberal like Romney or Guiliani who are also BIG government lovers. this is the fact, a lot of people are only now looking at the candidates and they dont really like the so called front runners

The problem is the group of bible thumpers that have hijacked the party. I can't see giuliani getting the nod mainly because he is a new yorker and his abortion stance.

It amazes me what stupid sheep republicans have become.

It only took 10 years for the Neocons to take the helm and change the whole party and everything they stand for.
