Good to hear Jeff Buckley mentioned here,

Jeff Buckley to music was always to me something like James Dean to movies.

I sure believe he was probably the most spectacular solo artist to come up in the early 90's and I never actually found a way how to identify and justify to myself why.

It's just the way he was able to play, to sing, to write - something that just freezes you and you listen to every word and every tone and every second of his only record or a couple of concerts that were recorded, the feeling and the realness is just killing it!

Here is a video of one of my favourite songs "The Last Goodbye":

You can also find most of his music available at www.jeffbuckley.com

Unfortunately, I had to use the James Dean parallel, RIP Jeff!

I have probably almost everything they ever recorded.

Have a nice concert on video from Rockpalast - Dortmund 1996 as well.

From everything they recorded solo after the break up in 2002 I would probably put:

1) Jimmy Chamberlain solo album - now that was a serious surprise to me and a showcase of how great drummer and musician Jimmy is
2) Mellisa Auf Der Maur solo album
3) Billy Corgan solo album - was a bit of a dissapointment for me but I haven't had a chance to hear that enough times yet
4) James Iha solo album

Interesting thing that you are far not the first fellow porn mate who is a super fan of them.

It seems listening to the Smashing Pumpkins may actually seriously increase your will to become the next big thing in porn! :winkwink:

There are very few in the rock history to be able to write a song that's catchy, yet doesn't get old soon and doesn't sound silly or obvious.

Yeah, Alice is cool. A buddy of mine plays guitar in his band. His name is Keri Kelli. He's been in a bunch of bands but he is not an orginal member to Alice Cooper.

He is cool but he should let someone fix his extraodinaire flash website, it almost killed me once I started to load it and got a full sound attack to the headphones.. :winkwink:
