    If this passes I have no doubt they will lose the next vote by a landslide and this will SERIOUSLY affect the presidential run.

                      The partisan politics we have going on means that nothing gets done regardless of who is in power in what house. Politicians are pretty much in it for themselves these days, hence the huge amount of voter apathy!

                                              Agreed. And because they are afraid of the spin in the upcoming elections the very thing they are trying to avoid (losing the election and presidency) could very well be the result because of their fear. Too cautious and spineless.

                                                  And when Democrats are caught in scandals, it's set up by Republicans and what THEY think the worst thing that could happen is having sex with a woman.
