New Electric Car 300MPG!!!!!!

Wanted to let you guys in on a new car out there, the Apatera. I shot the comercial for them last month and they just launched recently and are taking orders. This car runs as fully Electric 175miles to the charge standard 120 or electric/hybrid 300 MPG! They are going for only 25k!!!

Why must they continue to make electric cars that look like spaceships? No wonder mainstream adoption is next to zero, that thing looks like Id snap off a wheel if I turned too hard.

The reason is making a car as aero dynamic as possible, Looks are all relative, if you want to get the best possible gas mileage you need to have a shape that cuts through the air. The car doesn?t even have rear view mirrors because they create drag

2. if it is electric how can it drive on gas ? 300 mpg would imply gasoline is used?

Sucks, doesn't it?

But these cars can do 300MPG BECAUSE they like like space ships. Aerodynamics/drag, all important factors.

Sad really...the one thing that can make cars cheaper makes them uglier and inherently makes them unsellable on a large scale.

Bad idea to put the fenders on the wheels and have them turn with the wheels. That was done back in the 20's or 30's and they found it ended up working like an airplane rudder and caused crashes.

It must be classified as a motorcycle if they are able to sell it with no bumbers. I'll agree though it is pretty ugly.

I doubt it would take off if you drove it too fast on the highway LOL. It gets 300 mpg because it as an electric car with a gasoline generator. So the gas engine only comes on when the battery gets depleted. That way you can plug it in and never use gas if you dont want to, but if you need to get the range the generator kicks in.

I bet the range is ridiculous on that thing though. With one 10 gallon tank at 300mpg you could probably drive across the country!!
