Brainless Japs save a dog and then......

This story makes you feel good. You think they have found a home for the dog. Then you read the last line are realize how how fucking stupid these people are

TOKYO (Reuters Life!) - A dog won his freedom from the pound, and probable death, after saving an elderly woman who got lost and nearly froze to death in Japan, police said.

A 73-year-old woman suffering from dementia disappeared from her home near Tokyo on Wednesday, one of the coldest days so far this winter, and was found a day later hugging the dog in a park 3 miles away.

"The dog was nestling up to the grandmother. No one doubted that he is her dog," Mitsuo Nakagawa, vice chief of Hitachinakanishi Police Station, told Reuters.

It was only later the police found it was not the woman's pet.

Instead of impounding the dog, and putting it at risk of being gassed like hundreds of thousands of strays each year, the police took it back to the park and let it go.

"We thought he can make it back to his own home," Nakagawa said.

Yeah sure so now he goes out in the cold, starves, and then gets picked up once again and sent back to the pound where he will be gassed.

Stupid humans. I can't wait for mass depopulation.

I read that earlier today and thought WTF? You would think they could have held the dog for a few days to see if the owners saw the story ..... even run a photo of the 4-leg hero. Anything except putting it back into the cold!

Pizza lockdown confuses tourist

Housekeeping staff at the Hermitage Hotel in Mount Cook were called to help an American guest who complained she could not get her pizza out of the microwave.

It turned out she had in fact put the pizza in the safe in her room and activated the lock.

Whats the problem? Obviously the wherever they dropped him off was somewhat close to where they found him. If a dog has a home, generally it will find it's way.

Do you know how large is Tokyo? I give you a hint, it's the largest metropolis in the world with 32 million people.

Stupid story anyway, hence the stupid conclusion "We thought he can make it back to his own home".
