Is there a OSX Leopard / HP printers patch?

Upgrading to Leopard fucked up all communication with my HP printer. Apparently this is going around. Has anyone had this problem and solved it. HP wants me to pay for support

I have no idea what your doing wrong or what kind of mac you have but ive done leopard on 7 macs now and not one prob at all.... nothing...

right now I am running my macbook pro with my 30 inch attached to it with the airport extreme router with my HP printer plugged into my router via usb so it's basically wireless no need to have em plugged in anymore... and not one prob...

I can print from down the street....

I can scan on to any mac in the house or PC even. my wife still uses pc which is wireless on the network and not one prob.... you do not need any patch at all... you just need to get everything mac and it will work....

hit me on ICQ and we will get over to ichat and screen share ill fix what ever is wrong... have you used any features with leopard? there are so many drivers in it... im plugin shit in from years ago and it's working right away....

whats funny with macs is you read install instructions for PC and there pages long then you read install for mac and it says plug in and go LOL....

personally I think your either over thinking it to much and creating probs for yourself which a few restarts will fix.. or your on an older mac that is not fast enough.. if your on a new mac it SHOULD be flawless... like I said I have not had one issue with leopard at all.... everything has been plug and go...

what kind of modem to router set up you on? where is your printer plugged into? have you changed the USB cord to try a new one I have about 100 usb cords that are no good anymore..

what type of error are you getting right now?

did you go into add printer?

sorry to ask what should be dumb questions but sometimes we over think shit and forget the simple fixes it could be... cheap usb cable.

reminds me of slingblade the guy brings his mower in... all pissed off no one can fix it...

carl go's mmmmmm aint got to gas in it.... then bam it works...

also dood don't forget that every mac has a mac genius bar in it where they will fix your shit for free.... ive gone there many times with mine for stupid shit... different applications that arent working like I want them to and most the time it's settings but they do it all for free... I am known to be rough on keys on the keyboard so I have already replaced a few keys I take the lap-pie in they fix it for free....
