Thought it takes a long time to get a US Passport
Finally got around to applying for a first time US passport. I've heard and read that there's a long wait for them. Being near the Canadian border I wanted to have one on hand.
I dropped off my application and stuff on Nov 15th at the local city hall to be forwarded to the right place..no special handling, etc. I received my passport today...3 weeks later. Even the website says 4 to 6 weeks. Are they wanting me out of the country fast or something? PK

Had a vacation to Mexico last year.... I was inside the 4-6 week timeframe so I paid for the express.... I think they said 12 days for express... I got it in 7.... guess they have their shit together more than they think.
