I have quiet a few different ones, branded and OEMs...got my last one from http://www.mp4nation.net

Got a touch screen mp4 player for my gf last month and it's actually a lot better than i thought. Unless you are dead set on branded ones of course.

.......after much research I bought a zen vision W ...... plays avi (xvid, divx), mpeg1, mp4, wmv.... at 720x640 max res....60GB HDD, I can transfer my camera's pics to its HDD without having a computer to do it, radio, pic slideshows, custom wallpapers, and yeap, it plays mp3s as an added bonus (^_^) ......... I don't like iPods....... I also have a small zen micro for the gym...

the meizu mp3 player is really nice, sound quality is excellent, much better than I expected. Small and compact as well, wear it to the gym all the time. Im not a big ipod fan and so prefer these types of players myself.

I don't want to have to deal with priority issues with quick time/mac etc. for instance I just downloaded a book off line that is 'wma' so I have probs right away with mac gear. with the 'zune' player or just about any 'non mac' I can load it right up or load up mp3's. also quick times sucks, I can't watch most of the quick time stuff online. who cares why. not me, just mac BS to me.

as a supposed 'power user' I've seen as many problems with mac's as I have PC's. the diff for me is ease of use. I've used macs for stuff and I find the menus a bit less intuitive than windows, sorta like nikon compared to canon. nikon is more intuitive and has better ergonomics. (read this from several sources, and agree myelf) also don't wanna have to buy all new software. although mac does look 'cuter' -bmb
