7 beers and 6 shots in two hours and you are "not really drunk?"

Did you mean, "not very drunk?"

Depends on how fit you are at the moment.. not that much drinks, I used to kick this when I was 17 back in the day without any problems.

Now the dog is older and such incidents hurt the other day.

What people in Cali fail to realize is when you sign on the line for that Cali license you are in fact agreeing to take any and all tests that a peace officer may want to issue until HE is satisfied, not the driver. He can give you 100 different types of tests using 20 different breathalyzers if he wants.

So glad you are ok man, specially after what I went through.

Don't do that shit again!

That's why I was so surprised cuz you are the take a cab advocate, always.

Yeah...that is like the first time I've slipped up since I lived in Cali and a reminder that I've been right the whole time.

What color Norco (hydrocodone) pill did you take?

People's alcohol tolerance has zero to do with how opioids are digested into the body and the tolerance of mixing drugs with alcohol.

I am curious what size mg pill you took with that amount of alcohol and are claiming you barely feel that level of inxoxication.

I could drink with the rest of them, but once you start popping pills, you are in a whole new game. And alcohol tolerance will not make a difference.

No one, just takes hydrocodone with beers and shots and dont feel it.

Norco is just a brand name for the same old drug thats been around for a long time

well... what you said was that you weren't concerned with killing people... you were concerned with the legal issues.

so its not like you "get it" at all. further you go on to explain like any addict does "well.... the legal limit isn't really drunk for ME... its just "drunk" according to the law" etc etc etc. to further rationalize your insanely irresponsible choice that put everyone around you at risk of being killed.

the bottom line is that people get killed because of people EXACTLY like you. people that have it all figured out. people that are just incredibly brilliant and "know their own limits". people that "are ok to drive".

i couldn't care less if someone wants to drink, drive and juggle chainsaws all at the same time if they are in the middle of the desert somewhere.

just like every other person killed by a drunk driver, my mother was killed by someone who "knew his limits", "knew he was ok to drive" and knew that the "legal limit isn't really "drunk" for him" because he was a fucking genius too... his truck hit my mom head on, at 60mph, at night, with his headlights off... driving in the wrong lane into oncoming traffic.

and... if i was like some of the fucking idiots in this thread i would have been saying to him over the years "wow... you're lucky, this is third time you have killed people in drunk driving accidents and only got sentenced to 5 years and served 2! be careful next time... we don't want to lose you"

Technical note: These charts are not legal evidence of actual BAC. Although it is possible for anyone to exceed the designated limits, the charts have been constructed so that fewer than 5 persons in 100 will exceed these limits when drinking the stated amounts on an empty stomach. Actual values can vary by body type, sex, health status, and other factors.

Not sure your point. Those graphs don't even consider the possibility of drinking 12 or 13 drinks in one session, much less in 2 hours.

Maybe if the subject weighed in at 700 lbs there would be no problem.

I absolutely agree. But this is a guy who constantly brags about the drugs he does, the whores he bangs and the partying he does every week.
That makes him a hero amongst these neanderthals. That's why he posts about it here. He can't post about it most other places because anywhere else in the world, people would think he's an idiot.

Theo 12-05-2007 07:21 PM

Pleasurepays put it well. Exceeding allowed limit of alcohol in your blood makes your driving reactions slower than it should and you automatically become a less capable driver. That's why there's a law and gets stricter and stricter all the time. No drunk driver starts driving knowing he may end up killing someone, but at the end some of them they sadly do it. So it should become your concern you may end up harming someone if you actually want to follow your own rules and make positive difference. For the record I lost also a relative by a drunk driver and ended up in jail. Boohoo...two kids now grow up without a mother. You cannot replace a human life neither any sort of punishment is an actual justice.

Dood...First, I am very sorry about what happened to your Mother. I've lost friends to drunk drivers myself. It fucking sucks.

Second, I am the mosy pro-cab / anti-drunk-driving guy on this board. Ask anyone who goes out with me on a regular basis. I didn't even plan drinking as much as I did. Was I impared legally? Sure. Was I really that fucked up? No. I could pass the dozen or so field sobriety test the guy gave me, so I couldn't have been that bad. If they had breathalized me, I'm sure I would have been so ridiculous number, considering I hadn't really eaten much either. That's why I say I fear the legality more. I was nowhere near driving up the wrong lane. In fact, the cops didn't even say I was drving irradicly. The bars were just getting out, so I was an easy mark.

Third, it's something I will never do again and I never really did anyway. This thread is more of a warning to those who do drive drunk to maybe think about it before they do. I've fucked up a lot in my past and a DUI would have been the end of me. I got lucky: Very, very lucky.

Are things clearer now?

thanks, i wasn't really trolling for sympathy and don't expect it. it was a very long time ago. but its a true story. we had a huge argument on her birthday. the first time we every fought. i was 15 (so i guess she was 32 because she had me at 17). i went home and was waiting to apologize for ruining her birthday. i sat by the door expecting her at 5:30 or so... i sat there staring at the door until 9:30 when one of her friends called and asked if she was home.. then told me she saw what looked like her car in a bad accident.

i never got to apologize to her.

and why?

because some addict could just as easily rationalize driving drunk. like you, he didn't say "holy shit, that was the most irrisponsible thing i have ever done in my life and i'm glad i didn't kill anyone"... like you, he was probably telling himself "wow, hahaha... that cop didn't notice i was high and drunk.... thank god i didn't lose my license... that would have sucked!"

so here you are... you claim to fully understand what its like.. yet are very clear that you are not concerned about it and very sure that it can't happen to you. wow.

A lot of rationalizations... and no acceptance of responsibility. This is a very sad statement. let me clue you in on a fact about alcohol that everyone understands except you. Alcohol impairs your judgement... FIRST. but not yours of course. you are totally under control in a 500Hp Mercedes after 7 beers and 6 shots.

oooh... wait... you said you were high and drunk and WAAAAAAY over the limit. right? i mean thats exactly what you said... here... let me quote you since your memory seems to be clouded:

Confusing... you should have failed? BUt but ... but... you're fine right? ok to drive? Why would you EVER fail a field sobriety test if you weren't too drunk to drive?

again... its called denial and you are a textbook addict.

Quote:

THE END OF YOU?

Hmmm... what about murdering others?

I mean you've lost many friends to drunk driving accidents. You totally know the risks and how many lives you can destroy with a simple bad decision like the one you made.

however, you still don't take responsibility for the danger you posed to others... because you drank 6-7 beers and 6 shots of jeager and then went for a drive in a super fast sports car.

I dont expect anything at all i am saying, or what others are saying to impact your thinking at all. You're an addict. You're in denial. You accept zero responsibility for your actions. You have a ways to go probably before you hit rock bottom and finally figure it out, if you survive... hopefully you will only kill yourself on the way down.

i never got to apologize to her.

and why?

because some addict could just as easily rationalize driving drunk. like you, he didn't say "holy shit, that was the most irrisponsible thing i have ever done in my life and i'm glad i didn't kill anyone"... like you, he was probably telling himself "wow, hahaha... that cop didn't notice i was high and drunk.... thank god i didn't lose my license... that would have sucked!"

so here you are... you claim to fully understand what its like.. yet are very clear that you are not concerned about it and very sure that it can't happen to you. wow.

A lot of rationalizations... and no acceptance of responsibility. This is a very sad statement. let me clue you in on a fact about alcohol that everyone understands except you. Alcohol impairs your judgement... FIRST. but not yours of course. you are totally under control in a 500Hp Mercedes after 7 beers and 6 shots.

oooh... wait... you said you were high and drunk and WAAAAAAY over the limit. right? i mean thats exactly what you said... here... let me quote you since your memory seems to be clouded:

hmm... yeah, don't worry about killing people. it can't happen to you. but DO worry about getting into trouble. i mean fuck running over an 7yr old, lets think about your license or the possibility of your car getting impounded... thats the real shit that destroys lives afterall. people can just have more kids anyway.

Uhmmm... HELLLO?

Uhmm... dude. seriously, its called denial. It's a problem addicts have. Furthermore, they frequently do things like blog and post to the public about their fucked up behaviors becuase they are crying for help.

Confusing... you should have failed? BUt but ... but... you're fine right? ok to drive? Why would you EVER fail a field sobriety test if you weren't too drunk to drive?

again... its called denial and you are a textbook addict.

No... its something you did and then made light of the fact that you could have killed someone. In fact, you went out of your way to say that harming others wasn't your concern at all

again... narcissistic much?

THE END OF YOU?

Hmmm... what about murdering others?

I mean you've lost many friends to drunk driving accidents. You totally know the risks and how many lives you can destroy with a simple bad decision like the one you made.

however, you still don't take responsibility for the danger you posed to others... because you drank 6-7 beers and 6 shots of jeager and then went for a drive in a super fast sports car.

I guess... if anyone was still wondering if you were an addict in desperate need of help, then you've clarified yourself perfectly.

I would be nice had you just admitted that it was horribly wrong and horribly irresponsible and you fully understand that you could have easily killed innocent people.

OK. On a happier note I was quite ammused with http://victimsofchildren.com/ (from your sig) - that shit is funny.

What I posted was an anti-drunk-driving and semi-serious. It was just my thoughts after I had just come home from that shit. I put it on my blog and re-posted on GFY.

How come you can see humor in raping children, but think that drunk driving (even when warning against it) is so horrible?

Oh let's me guess?

It's never happened to you? You probably weren't raped by a priest, but you can put together a blog that is a slap in the face to every kid that has ever been touched?

So by that same logic I can deduce this about you:

Tragedy + Things That Have Affected You = Not Funny
Tragedy + Things That Have Not Affected You = Funny

Look, I wasn't saying what I did was right, cool, or even glamorizing it - I even said I'd never do it again. Life it tough. It is full of misfortune. What happened to you sucked: No question.

You can't be super senistive about your pet subjects out of one side of your mouth and then bash people that have had the innocence taken out of the other side AND read GFY at the same time! That's hypocritical!

If you don't like it. Don't look at it. Grow a thicker skin.

:2 cents:

Now, don't even make me get started with http://15yroldvirgin.com/ ! (also in your sig) :1orglaugh

Then add up your lost income due to incarceration. You're looking at losing a million easy I would bet for you personally. If not more.

With all that in mind, i think you can afford the car service next time bro!

Million?

Come on... Be realistic... $10,000,000,000!
