Whats the fastest you have driven it on the road..

I had my 911 twin turbo up to 165 for a short stretch on the hiway and that was damn fast..i don't think i will try 200mph.

back in my younger & stupid days, I had a 93 toyota Supra. Took her up to 137 according to my passenger, on the interstate just south of Cleveland on my way to Cinci. I was too piss scared to go any faster, as i was passing cars on botht he left and the right. Wouldn't try that again.

I've never driven over 120, but I bet I hold some records for fastest AVERAGE speeds Until I lost my license (NOT for speeding) I would regularly set my cruise control at 100+ and almost never got under 90 unless traffic was thick.

150 mphs in the rented Mercedes a couple of years ago. As fast as it would go. I would like to have gone faster. BTW I was in Germany on the autobahn.

My VW bus got up to almost 80 today as I was trying to catch up to the mother fucker that cut me off big time in traffic today.

Mother fucker should be glad I didn't have a fucking gun!

Took my Honda to 125 on the way to San Diego last week and got to the same speed on the way back.

was running out of straight road.

Kind of scary, i was going about 80 around the mountains and felt like the wind was going to grab my car and fling it down the mountain

182 mph on an R-1. If I went any faster, I'd fall off the bike for sure. You can feel how not aerodynamic human body is at that speed -- you lift your elbow a bit up and you feel this crazy pull to a side. Ah, also, fucking bugs, they can kill you.

I do 130 in my huyndai. I had my rx7 up to 155 where it pins out many times on the highway. But those days are long over, it is much safer to drive on the proffesional drag strip or circle track.

105 in a VW Beetle out in New Mexico on my way to San Diego one time is the most memorable high-speed run I've made ... I had a 60 chevy that I would bury the needle on all the time, though. Now days I keep it to 75 or below - don't know if I'm just old, or sensible...

I have a 96 Camaro SS with a stroked LT-4 out of a grand sport Corvette... Its 396cu now, long tube headers, ported heads/intake, Accel DFI, NOS, 50lb injectors, Chromoly Crank/Rods, basically the whole 9 yards...

Car makes 600+ HP and 720 ft/lbs with the 150 NOS shot

Its a 6 speed and I have it pinned out once or twice to the tune of 180-190 Mph

Its running Michellin Pilot MXX3's and its lowered...

Close to 100MPH on the motor way. If caught it is a big fine and a day in court... pretty obvious when an unmarked police car is following you, just to see a big fucking red Volvo Estate Car mirroring your every single move at 100MPH. Slowing down can decrease the average... so by the time they pull you over they should have recorded max. 80MPH average. Small fine... if they're averaging it of course. Kinda fucks things up when they pull people over right away.

Gotta be smarter than to go 150 anywhere. I don't want to lose my license for going above 100.

You guys think that is fast on land ... try 131 MPH in a 43 foot SCARAB offshore racer .... now that is fukkin fast !!!

Anybody who is an avid boater will tell you that out on the water, your mind plays all kinds of tricks on you as far as perception of speed goes ... 30 MPH feels like 80 in a car !!!

It is the BIGGEST rush you could ever have !!!

155 in a 944 turbo, about 3 weeks ago... actually felt pretty solid too, like I could cruise at that speed all day long. Felt alot nicer than my old 911 or mustang.... actuallly the Mustang felt like it would come apart over 100!

I was a passenger in a bad carcrash some years back. It was in a undersee tunnel here in norway hit the wall's 5-6 times at high speed. People said it was a miracel that no one got hurt. I stoped speeding after that.

Hoboy.. just my thread!

We had a '96 Viper in Vegas for a week.. was out several times in the desert.. about the best we could do was 160 before the backend just got too squirrely.. in '97 they finally put a spoiler on the back to keep the ass down.

I had my 2001 Cobra convertible up to 152 the day after I got it (heh heh)

And the fastest I've ever been was somewhere between 165 and 170 on my ZX11 IN TRAFFIC on I-5 between Solana Beach and Del Mar (not the smartest thing I've ever done).

I just don't consider anything under 150 to be fast enough worthy to mention..
