    Just now a news reporter said "well, you talked of mushroom clouds in Iraq and WMD's, and there were none, then you talked of Iran having nukes or close to it, and now it turns out there are none. Can't you be accused of hyping these less than truthful claims, and ruining the U.S.'s credibility?"

    Bush: "uh.......uh......uh.....Iran was and still is dangerous, nothing has changed, my opinion hasn't changed"

                                                  My thinking on all this is that we (which includes media, civilians, whatever) don't have the entire story on what is actually going on. The media latches on to fragments of stories and then spins them and attacks politicians, who may not even have the complete story at the time. Then everyone latches on to that interview and treats it like its the gospel.

                                                  I'm just saying here that there is more to all of this bullshit then what CNN reports and maybe, just maybe, there is shady shit going on in Iran and that maybe, just maybe, we might want to stop it before it becomes retaliation.

                                                                      Citizens should never put as much faith in their government as you do. Saying stuff like, "the government knows what's best for me because they know more than me" is never a good mindset to have.

                                                                      Let's just say that Iran builds a nuke. Please take us from step A to step B to step C in how you think that would ultimately harm America. And DO NOT say they will launch it into the US. That sort of stuff is bullshit since they know US retaliation would level most of Iran. Israel would deliver the same fate to them if they sent it there.

                                                                      I'm not saying Iran having a nuke is perfectly fine, but stopping them though an invasion is NOT worth potentially starting WW3 over. Just think of all the things that would come out of WW3. Would you rather have that, or a nuke sitting idle in Iran?

                                                                                      If anyone in here knows anybody that has been a part of special operations in any branch of the military, they would know that there is much more to any kind of action that what the media or even a majority of the military knows. Invading a country or starting a war is more complicated than just looking at a satellite picture and thinking something looks like a possible WMD. There is more than any of us will ever know that went on, is going on and will continue to go on in the middle east and the fact that you all make judgements based on what is reported is ignorant. I know that you all dissagree with me and think I'm some kind of patriotic simpleton, but the people I have talked to and stories I've heard makes me skeptical of anything that is reported because I know they only report the side of the story that betters their networks agenda.

You really think that every government should share all information with the public? So then should police agencies divulge information on undercover activities since our tax dollars are paying for it as well?

                                                                                                                                                                                          There are typically reasons that this information isn't shared with the general public and suprisingly enough, it's not just because there is a devious plot of world domination involved. Sometimes, it's just to maintain the safety of the people who have their lives on the line.
