Do you have any Privicey options set on the wireless router?
Does your router restrict connections by MAC address?
We had a problem with a Netgear router when we added another wireless lappy. Come to find out that we needed to add its MAC address to the list of allowed machines who can have access.

It says connected, but can you verify you are? FTP, SSH, anything other than a browser.

Doesn't sound like you've determined if maybe the wireless card is the culprit.

Also,
Make sure your connection is using auto detect settings. We got hosed by that once when it was looking for the gateway IP that wasnt their.

Unplugging for 30 seconds, both the router and cable modem usually does the trick for me.

Sometimes getting the Macs back online after something like this can be a real pain in the butt.
