Prior to a few sudden ugly decisions during WW2, Hitler was one of the greatest leaders in history. So there was really nothing to "tolerate." He brought Germany back to life and had a 98-99% approval rating. That is why the people of Germany stood by him during WW2.
Saddam on the other hand did nothing for Iraq that warranted Iraqis allowing him to stay in power. Fact is, the people of Iraq are some of the biggest cowards in the entire world. That is why so little progress has been made there since the start of the war.
Chavez.... He isn't the big bad wolf that Bush and the US media make him out to be. They have a legit democracy down there, and there are no signs of Chavez not respecting the will of his people.
