Thats alot of zero's and if it were a 3.5 billion dollar industry alot more of us would be millionaires or multi millionairs. As it stands there are only a hand ful of multi millionairs in the industry. I wouldnt know the exact number but seemingly it should be more if this industry even does 3.5B at present.

So IMHO 3.5 in Mobile by 2010 is possible I would say it is not likely since currently the numbers online adult industry currently discuss is for the most part untrue or exagerated.

From what I've seen, unless you're a carrier, sms/mms aggregator, billing solution or some provider of mobile services (i.e. messaging / wap platforms) it's a pretty tough game. Sure, $3.5 billion off mobile porn may be seen by 2010, but I think most of it's going to the companies who own the infrastructure and not the people peddling their wares. Then again, if you can get even a small percentage of $3.5 billion, you'll be doing better than most.

Just my $.02 though.

is being divided amongst alot of participants...

Yes, the carriers and intermediaries keep too much atm but the content owners should get a larger slice of the pie as the industry matures. And, yes, the cellcos will not touch hardcore content with a bargepole (particularly in US) but "off deck" is another matter...
