Georgia doesn't even make it to the SEC Championship muchless win it. They have 2 losses.
Kansas only has 1 loss, but they didn't make it to their championship game either and they have a creme puff schedule.

LSU vs VTech, both won their conference and both have 2 loses. LSU beat VTech straight up by 40+ points, and both of LSU's loses came in triple OT. Not to mention LSU by far has the hardest schedule in the country.

Will the voters vote with their asses or make the right decission here. If Missouri loses it should be Ohio State vs LSU.

OSU in the game is a joke. I would be happy with any combo of Georgia, Virgina Tech, LSU, Oklahoma and USC in the title game. You could make a case for any of them having played a reasonable schedule and a powerhouse when healthy. VT's only knock in this is that LSU crushed the shit out of them this year so how much weight do you put on that when both teams were fully healthy. No idea.

All I care is that OSU, Kansas, Missouri, West Virgina get nowhere near it with their shit football and piss ass schedules. OSU only played one good team all year and lost.... Nuff said.

Take another look at that schedule and conference Will. Only tough game on the schedule was at home to Illinois and they LOST. Keep in mind that Georgia was 6-2 in conf play but didn't get in because they lost the tie breaker to Tenn as they lost to Tenn who got beat by the Gators who got beat by Georgia. So at 10-2 they didn't get to play in place of Tenn who was 9-3. Go figure.

I would agree with that but if you have them jumping over teams like that, then I think you need to look at the schedules of the other top 6 teams and see who stacks up to jump as well and it aint Ohio State who played shit, lost at home to Illinois and has no conference champ game.


Honestly if OSU gets in then I want an equally shitty team like Kansas or Hawaii to get in with them so at least its a competitive game. Last thing I want is to watch LSU beat the living shit out of them and have the game decided at half again.

S Carolina lost 5 in a row and ended up 6-6.

Kentucky lost 5 out of 7 and ended up 7-5.

Auburn ended up 8-4, barely ranked at #24.

Alabama lost 4 in a row, one of them being Louisiana-Monroe, to end up 6-6.

Obviously they were all overrated during the early part of the season.

ahhh what does it matter there is no clear cut answer and the only thing that will get decided in the championship game is that of the 2 teams that got in, one will be better than the other one. Not necessarily the best in the country. Oh well I just hope its a competitive game which if OSU gets in I fear will not be the case. Hope I am wrong.

they really did have a playoff system in place this year. The only team that could bitch is Hawaii.

Kansas played Missouri, Missouri won. Oklahoma played Texas Tech, lost Ohio State Played Michigan, won. Lots of teams this year had a chance and lost.

I think it sucks with the BCS when you have 3 unbeaten teams or 3 unclear favorites. This year no one really deserves it and a lot of teams had a chance.

you can't say teams lost "x" amount of games so it made them a bad team at the end of the year. either they were a good team all year or you have to look at it game by game. CAL came out ranked high and won their first 5 games in the beginning of the year. They were hot, which is when Ten played them. Different teams at different points in the year. Did they lose a star player to lose the last 6 ?

If you are looking for excuses, Sam Bradford got hurt on the first series against Texas Tech and OU still almost pulled it out. They might have if not for a bad call costing them a touchdown.

If you want hot then Kansas was Top 5 and lost 1 game - to Mizzou. Mizzou was #1 and Top 5 when OU beat them. OU beat Texas when they were in the Top 10. Miami and Tulsa were ranked when OU beat them.

Mizzou beat the Illini who beat OSU.

I'd love an OU-LSU rematch of the 2003 game.

yeap, thats what i pointed out here, Kansas and Georgia should have no shot. If you can't win your 1/2 of t he conference and you dont make it to your own conference championship game, then there is no way you should be playing in the National Championship game.

I don't think USC, and OU did enough to jump LSU. I think the 2 things that help LSU is that they lost both games in triple OT and they have the hardest schedule in the country and they are already in front of OU and USC. if LSU would have been behind OU or USC, i dont think LSU could have jumped them. I don't see how they can not jump Georgia, Missouri and Vtech.
In the Harris Poll LSU was #5, in the AP they were #5 (AP doesnt matter though) only in the coaches they were #7. They should move to #2 in Harris, and hopefully the coaches will put them to atleast #3. I think that will be enough with the computer vote to get them back to #2 in the BCS.

That's from the NCAA. Note that the SEC and Big 12 have 3 teams each in the top 7 because they have to play LSU, UGA, Tenn, Fla, OU, Mizzou, Kansas and Texas.

Missouri did get shafted. Kansas did not beat a team that got ONE vote for being in the top 25. So all 10 teams they beat did not get 1 vote to be in the top 25 muchless did they end up in the top 25. Missouri should have gone to a BCS instead of Kansas. V Tech will beat them by 17.
