A 22-year-old Georgia woman is facing murder charges for allegedly stabbing her two young children to death in a convenience store bathroom.

An investigator says a worker at a Food Mart in Augusta called 911 yesterday after hearing a scream while Michelle Hawes was in the bathroom with the boy and the girl. Sheriff's deputies knocked down the door and found Hawes on the floor, holding a steak knife and covered in blood.

The one-year-old boy and three-year-old girl were pronounced dead at the hospital. Their mother is behind bars, charged with two counts of murder.

Store clerk Amanda Thomas says Hawes was a regular customer. She says she heard the children crying in the rest room, and when things, quote, "didn't sound right," she tried to get in and couldn't.

Naa she shouldn't be killed. She should be put in jail and made think about what she has done for the rest of her life.

They don't like women that kill kids in prison. Remember the crazy woman that drowned her kids by letting the car roll in to the lake? They beat her on a regular basis in prison, and made cries like children all night long to torment her.

If you really honestly think anything has changed in regards to how fucked up, how cruel, how sick, and how depraved humans can be and often are has changed at all in the past few thousand years. You need to educate yourself a bit more about humanity (haha that is such a funny word).

I think she said she got carjacked or something. There was some strange story she gave the police that proved not to be true. There was another case like it a few years later, I believe.
