Ok lets really simplify this for the Macgyver challenged. You have shrooms and want them dried now.
Get a small or large fan, Box fans are ideal but lets assume you do not have one and just some piece of crap round style fan.
Pop the cover off of such fan. So it is no longer dome shaped.
Next look around your house for something that is about the same size that will allow air flow. If its a box fan consider borrowing two or your heating or AC filters for a bit. Otherwise just find something that allows airflow. Maybe a small piece of cardboard that you have pierced the living hell out of with a pokey stick or something. Still nothing, ok grab some paper towels or coffee filters. Though if using those you will need some sort of brace to prevent them from hitting the blades.
Next attach brace or your flat cardboard over the fan. Place your mushrooms on this flat surface. Cover with a dishtowel. Secure everything with some bungee cords, rubber bands, string, whatever. PS if you did have a box fan, two air filters and two bungee cords. Do not remove cover. Just lay filter on fan, mushrooms, next filter, attach bungee's over filters and onto fan.
Turn fan upright again and turn on high. Let it run for awhile.
Can you wait a day and have a gas oven.
Lay mushrooms on a wire cooling rack or something metal that allows air flow.
Place on bottom rack of oven.
Close door and check in the morning. The pilot light should provide enough warmth to dry them out.
In hurry and have gas oven, same process, middle rack, set oven to warm.
Willing to try a more scientific yet fast approach. Go to a craft store like Michael's, find the silica drying agent powders. Follow instructions and just make sure you clean off the mushrooms very well when done. Sure your about to eat something poisonous regardless but no reason to add to it right?Comment

If its only a few you can wrap them in a paper towel and tape that above the power supply fan on the back of your computer. Takes about 2 days to remove all the moisture. Once they're dry you can crush (coffee grinder) them into a powder to fill gel caps with which has no taste at all.

Tea is a great method. I don't like the smoothies personally but theywork great.
If you want to dry them out, cool, dark place, low humidity.
Place a fan in front of em, place em on a plate convered in paper towels, give it a backstop so none of the shrooms blow away when they dry. After that for longer term storage, air tight dessicant container in a freezer works just great.
Not that I would know about these sorts of things.-uno

First off... don't listen to anything that has been said so far... no disrespect to anyone's suggestions so far but I have tri.... I mean I have friends who have tried all those ways and they all still leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Try the following:
Make a tincture.
Take your favorite alcohol to do shots with, something high proof, I recommend tequila but vodka, rum, whatever...
Soak the shrooms - doesn't matter if you start with them dried or fresh and wet. I recommend at least a few hours but overnight or 48 hours or even more is ideal. Don't worry about the bluish tint it might impart - usually that is a good sign.
Pour the booze and take a shot or two... be careful not to overdo it. You don't have to eat any of the solids, just leave them soaking. The alcohol will extract all the psylicibin from the fungus. It actually can improve the flavor of tequila by imparting a certain nuttiness (no pun intended) which is not unpleasant at all.
You can certainly make mixed drinks too but I recommend sticking with shots since it is easier to measure amount/effect.
Have fun and play safe.

OOOOps... my bad... must have been a freudian slip or something but i thought you said "try" not "dry". lol.
Let them air dry in a cool dry place with good circulation all around. Use a piece of screen to set them on so that air can move freely all around. dry them on a screen over a heat vent is a good way to go. i usually just put them on a screen out in the sun, but being winter and all, a vent would probably work better...Comment
