AOL Time Warner in talks to MERGE with Disney

Uh oh.

Time to think about merging these companies with the former Philip Morris and also maybe a Pharmeceutical company.

That way America can finally have a state-supported cradle-to-grave social system accessible through just one provider.

Edited Note:

This is only the news divisions they are talking about merging...I am assuming this would lead to a full fledged merger.

a full fledged merger would not be approved.

Exactly my thoughts - AOL/TW has already blown off some of the requirements of THEIR merger, there's no way they would be approved to merge with Disney.

Cheers,

A full scale merger wouldn't happen. The valuations of both companies are shit right now. It will take at least a full 2 or 3 years for things to get back to normal so they could see what a fair stock swap would be.

Time Warner also have an EMI merger/aquisition on their mind so that is a 3-8 billion dollar situation that has to be addressed first. Disney and Time Warner aren't in any situation to handle both right now, if they can even handle one at all.

Just what the U.S. needs, less diversity (as if there is any to start with) in the conservative media.
