Some people do it just to get a rise out of folks and some people post honest opinions. Just because the opinion might be different from yours doesn't neccessarily make it nonsense.

Agreed there are people that get keyboard balls and say shit on the board that they wouldn't say in person, but still, you can't really knock someone for having a different opinion on a contraversial subject, as long as it's really their opinion and not just them being an asshole.

My point was not that there should be criteria about what to post (that's part of the GFY charm and usefulness), but that there's ways of disagreeing outside of calling a racist an idiot in his own stupid thread.
