yeah man sad

Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel, Jr. (October 17, 1938 - November 30, 2007) was a motorcycle daredevil who has been a household name since the late 1960s, and arguably the most iconic motorbike stuntman of all time. Evel Knievel's highly publicized motorcycle jumps, including his attempt to jump over the Snake River Canyon, claim four of the top 20 most-watched Wide World of Sports events of all time. He enjoyed a lengthy career in this extreme sport despite suffering a series of major injuries during stunts.

He was AWESOME

I also remember talking with him on the telephone a couple years ago right before I was going to interview him on my old radio station...he found out we were a *porn radio* show and was arguing with his agent because he wanted to go on, and his agent was against it...was a great conference call I will always remember

VIVA EVIL!

Ahhh I knew his grand daughter in Montana. Evil was from Butte, Montana which is every bit as bad as it sounds. Apparently Evil's son is still in the daredevil biz.

He certainly was a legend. Hats off to Evil!

And he just didnt' die of a crash. That's something.

Long Live Evil Knievel!

Evel Knievel was quite a character...

Without him, we would maybe not have Johnny Knoxville.

At least we still have Super Dave Osborne:

RIP Evel...

I must have been around 8 yrs old.

I remember my best friend had a evel knievel toy and I was so jealous of him. It was a bike that went up a ramp.

Anyone else get any of the Evel Knievel toys?

they made a couple movies about his life, they showed him at the begining of one of them where he grew up, a car came up to him and stopped in the middle of a field, honked it's horn, then the earth gave way under the car and it disappeared, really funny movie!

His son is Robbie Knievil, he's in the same biz

I met him once when was in the cell phone business.
Sold him a phone. He forgot something in his mazerratti and took him
forever to get it because he walked very slow.

I had the wind up wind up EK motorcycle as a kid and was cool
to meet him in person. Even though he was kinda angry in person.
Probably the constant pain he was in.

R.I.P
