Its not that, she tells him to call later 'if he wants'. If she would've said 'call me later, you better do otherwise im gonna be disappointed' you put pressure on the guy and he might think that you're a whacko because alot of guys run away when a girl sound a little too serious. But then the guy probably won't call because he doesn't want to seem like he is coming on strong either. Then the girl will think hes not interested when he really is but just trying to play by these "rules". I'm no expert and everyone is different but chances are a girl showing interest is not going to scare the guy away unless he is just looking for a fling. of course there are limits but it just seems that everyone is doing what they feel they have to do instead of doing what they feel.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

I think you have been pretty on target in this thread but I would like to offer another spin on this post.....
Yes, call the girl but do so when YOU KNOW that she will not be around to answer the call. Call when she is at work or whatever....Leave her a message. This shows your interest but at the same time it dumps the deal back in her lap.
Now she can call you back knowing that you are interested and without seeming needy...If she doesn't call then she was never truly interested in you to begin with.Comment
