I just went to check it, after not going there for months, and the server is so slow and/or the software so glitched that it reminded me of what turned me off of the place a long time ago....

did they cheap out on their servers? is the software poorly written?

it just hangs so I ended up closing the window and probably won't bother going back for another few months

I think, allowing users to include html on their profile pages plays a fair part in glitches and hangs.

its a HUGE fucking website, making it work perfectly all the time is a monstrous task. it is also patchwork written too, which is partially responsible for some of the errors and hangs.
