i was pulled over by the police recently in new mexico, at that moment i was less than 10mph over the speed limiit so i was wondering why he was pulling me over.

he said another driver called me in for speeding and wrecklessly passing multiple vehicles on a 2 lane highway and he asked me if that was me.

i said sure was me, all those guys were behind a trucker going under the speed limit, i waited through many times for those cars to pass, they did not and they were all tailgating each other so i had to pass them all at once.

he said he could not ticket me because the police did not witness the event.

I got busted at 130mph on the 10 outside of Phoenix two years ago. I had to go to court; I got a $150 fine and a single point on my license.

I had heard that that he could be fined, loss of lic, possible impound of the vehicle and a felony charge to boot. They have got tough on speeding drivers here. The fine you got is s thing of the past around the Phoenix area.

In the end, the guy has lots of money and he will probably walk with a fine.

Yep. There was one vehicle pulled off to the right side of the freeway when he blew by and in the video you can see on coming traffic from the opposite side of the freeway. The video also showed him letting off the gas when approaching traffic on his side of the freeway. I would say he was not alone on the road.

I don't think what he did was the brightest thing in the world. But, I hope he doesn't get seriously jacked up with the cops over it. Then again at the same time I kinda hope this isn't used to sell his site either. Unless the cops do seriously go after him, then I hope his site sells like mad and he makes serious bank from it.

Yes, how inconsiderate of that other car. The third time's the charm, and we see him take a sweeping curve at 170 on his way to an indicated top speed of 219. The video closes with the driver telling the camera, "I'm the driver and this was the world speed record for the LP640. 219 miles per hour. Try to beat it."

So he did all of this for his own personal viewing and opppss! it got leaked to the internet. Oh and he forgot to password protect the site so no one could go to it.
