Who cares if it is gossip or something and why should anyone get fired over it?
Someone recorded an event, then more than likely sold the footage. Demand followed and it was used up as celeb gossip. Not like it is the first time ever that people in government let alone in the white house have also been given celebrity like status.

I think it just really bothers Splum that the guy is also very popular and has such public interest.
