i remember this cartoon from when i was a kid

i so hope they don't do a planet of the apes on this one
and actually stick to the original story

I have all the episodes downloaded in mpg format.... cause I enjoyed that show so much.

DragonBall Z is one of those times where Hollywood has a chance to make something that is completely out of this world and really amaze people.

However.... it's magical(energy power) martial arts.... and Hollywood has failed miserably at any attempt they've made thus far.

I might actually watch it just for him. In my book he was the best actor on Buffy..and certainly one of the best British accents I have heard. He is apparently on Torchwood this season too.

Ah, I missed that bit but I shouldn't be surprised with Barrowman (who I actually like..whatever stuff he does in the UK he comes off as a nice guy).

Trust me you would have to work hard to be the biggest nerd or geek that I know BUT I am a geek groupie so it is all good to me

I have to say, I wouldn't mind seeing James doing anything sexual..I am okay with hot man on even hotter man sex.

The cartoon took a whole season to tell. How are they going to do a good version of this in a movie even if it was 3 hours? This would be something you'd need a trilogy for.

Dragonball can be done in a movie.... basically finding Roshi, training and winning the martial arts tournament in the end.

DragonBall GT could be done in 2 movies, Baby and Android sagas.

DragonBall Z though.... that would need at least 3 movies (Frieza, Cell and Buu). More if you count all the other enemies that they've encounted through the show and movies.

That's the one they're making. Just the Frieza part would be more than one movie. Unless you leave a lot of shit out and just cater to the fanboys who know what the fuck is going on. Anyone not familar with DragonballZ will be totally lost. The only reason I know anything at all is my son watched the shit all the time. I was like WTF is this shit?
