They ruled out any heart issues out and told me it was a panic attack. i felt like shit, my heart palpitated all the time..i was so fucken anxious...so i started eating healthy, started getting normal sleep, dealt with my PROBLEMS which i had many.. my business was going bankrupt, i was being sued and other shit was going on..i thought the fucken world was going to end. deal with whatever is bothering you thats the key and of course eat healthy. i feel your pain!..

hey mcor, yea the VERY 1st situation i've ever had with anxiety and/or panic (i'm not sure exactly what my problem is) is about 5 years ago i had a "heart palipitation" and the emergency room doctor said "i have a mild anxiety and should not drink alcohol, tea, and coffee"

totally shitty, i've been trying to exercise more, and eat better, no noticeable changes yet

When ever you start feeling anxiety... listen to Bob Marley's legend over and over until you start to feel better.

Some good advice. I listen to Marley in the car...Hard to get road rage with the reggae playing.

JScott - wtf in BKK could possibly be stressing you out? Are you taking the Yaba there?

Sounds to me like you need a good therapist rather than drugs. :2 cents:

sad to say, but something so simple like your recommendation has helped at times, hehe, this mental problem is the most stupid, retarded thing our minds and bodies could ever encounter, i hate, and thanks for the Bob tip, like i've said, it actually helps :thumbsup

Serious Answer for Feelings of Nausea:

My Friend had this same problem (but of course the cause could be different).

In his case, he had some problem with his - inner ear.

Get to an Ear specialist and see what they have to say.

Oh..and for the record: pills don't CURE anxiety and panic attacks. It only supresses them.

Emil 11-26-2007 06:11 AM

I've tried some SSRI meds. I don't have panicattacks but it sure did get rid of most of my anxiety. But I didn't like some of it's side effects. For example if I was watching a comedy movie, I knew some jokes where fun, but I didn't laugh, it didn't even make me smile. It turned me into a fucking zombie.
Not much feelings at all, and I did some pretty fucked up things that I regret now because I simply didn't care about people anymore.

And it's a nightmare if you want to quit taking them. I haven't had such bad anxiety ever, and it lasted for weeks. Just sitting in front of my computer with my head buried in my hands. Started to drink much just to get rid of the anxiety... And because of this I did more fucked up things. I was a completely different person.

I'm now off all meds, and will probably stay off..

Oh, and for about 3 weeks ago I've noticed thats coffee triggers my anxiety very much.
So I don't drink it anymore and I feel much better now.

Just listen and analize the words he is .....

Singin: dont worry bout a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.

Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, this is my message to you-ou-ou:

Singin: dont worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. dont worry!
Singin: dont worry about a thing - I wont worry!
cause every little thing gonna be all right.

I have some friends who are on adivan / ativan (sp?) that say it works great for their anxiety / panic attacks and say it's really light / doesn't make them feel foggy or numb.

I have a few friends on lexipro and their reviews are the same as what people are saying about paxil. They get really bad headaches when they try to quit it, etc. Once you're on that stuff you're on it.

It sounds like you just need to take something when you travel though, not all the time- so I would reccomend you just get some valum or kolonopen. Xanax can give you almost a hangover the next day, so I'm not to hot on that either. :2 cents:
