If that thread had went bad I would agree with you but you can't say that about this one and I thought it was neat myself. Of course I hope he had people along the way keeping the roads clear and already made a few passes to make sure nothing was on the road. I would assume someone would have done that and probably many more things we have not even thought about .

                                                                                                                    I know that particular stretch of road well and on a weekday (let alone late at night) after the commute is over you can easily take those sweepers at 120-130 and not worry about it. It's 3-5 lanes where very few on ramps are a) finished or b) connected to anything.

                                                                                                                        219 is significantly faster than 120-130 Like the difference between going 5 MPH and 94-104 MPH.

It looks to be US-60 which runs nice and straight through Mesa for about 15 miles. The curve he is starting out on is in Apache Junction out toward Gold Canyon. They play one of the LPGA events out there. Mesa has a population of over 450,000 people and even at 2 or 3 in the morning those cars he is passing are citizens on the road, not people that are controlling the traffic.

No other freeway here in town is straight enough to go that fast in that location.
