i've seen much better guitar to fan impact before. mostly on clips from old american hardcore shows though. where fighting was a mainstay. sometimes i wonder just how many times henry rollins clocked someone with the mic or popped a fan int he face from the stage, haha.

I saw that clip before. It's great! It's footage from their Tattoo You tour from the early '80's. Great stuff.

I remember my band was playing in Hallandale Beach, Fl at a club called The Treehouse and The Stones had a closed circuit broadcast of the show that was simulcast in stereo on the FM rock stations. Theclub had it on big screen and we watched it while we were on break.

And it had a cool intro to the show that had a completely naked and shaved woman (head too) with the call letters of the hundreds of rock stations that were simulcasting in stereo so you could crank your home stereo and watch the show at the same time.

The camera panned all over her body, stopping at each stations call letters while she recited them in a very sexy voice.

Then when that was done the camera went under the stage where the band had an entire "city" built.

It was some funny shit, started out with Bill Wyman and Bill Graham (the famous promoter who died in 1991) playing ping-pong. Then the camera went through a door and it was full of fog. And suddenly a bunch of live goats and chickens came running out! LOL!

Then it went to the back and the rest of The Stones were drinking and partying with a bevy of whores and "beautiful people". Keith was drinking from a bottle of Jack Daniels and he and Ron Wood kept walking into the corner and putting some sort of white powdery substance on the back of their hands and snorting it! LOL!

And to the question of what Jagger was wearing...he wore football pants that entire tour. They are made of spandex and are super comfortable so he was able to do a lot of leaping about without his nuts getting fouled up in a pair of jeans.

Only in America ladies and gentlemen
