while I disagree with the practice of it, for a few months, many girls are 18 and in High School.

regardless of that, it is still quite immoral.

Only half of seniors would be 18 if you go on the premise that most start education at same age & those born from January through June will be 17 at graduation & those born from June through December will be 18

Don't forget the potential for misunderstanding in other parts of the world. For example, in my area "High School" refers to years 7-12 which starts from about the age of 11

HS can also be known as Secondary College.

Maybe at graduation. I was older then 2/3 of my classmates out of class of 600 and I didn't turn 18 until December. Fact is by the time spring break arrives nearly 1/3 the seniors still aren't 18. Hell 2 of my best friends in highschool didn't turn 18 until over a month after graduation.
