No offense dude, but I'm not going to provide that information to a non-banking, non-regulated, non-insured entity like ePass. Especially with the history of keeping this information protected and private like they have had in the recent past.

Besides, most of the big sponsors check you out, and require that you fill out tax paperwork before they will create your affiliate account anyway. Hell, some of them even require references from other programs nowadays, before accepting you.

This whole thing is just insulting, if you ask me. Banks can't make changes to the terms of their ATM or Credit Cards like this without providing 60 days advance notice here in the USA (or is it 90 days...I forget). I guess that's the difference between a regulated industry, like banking, and a non-regulated pay system like ePass.

If it is now because of some security concern, then where was that concern when they were fucking people over, allowing theft, and freezing accounts a while back. Too little too late in my opinion.

I am amazed that so many dont get it. They whine about Epassporte taking Gambling money yet whine more that Epassporte wants to have basic checks in place as to who owns some of these accounts. There are a lot worse things accounts can be used for than gambling and anything that improves the system and security is fine by me.

I keep a large balance in Epassporte, I supply people with cards and I am happy they are making sure things are secure.

If I had known they were gonna pull this shit, I never would have started with them a couple of years ago.

Making a change like this, literally overnight, at this time of year is a major pain in the ass, and seriously impedes my cash flow for about 6 weeks. Some of my sponsors are from Europe, and with the delays involved in receiving and processing a check from them, it sets me back about 4 weeks vs. receiving a payment via ePass.

And it would be sbdolutely HORRID if this policy would affect my account. How am I supposed to change hundreds of sponsor accounts? Hell, I don't even remember all of them but still recieve epass payments once in a while.....fuck that shit.

I'm not whining. I have an "Affiliate Account", not some gambling account, and here is a screen shot from the ePass site showing the account features I'm supposed to have:

Happened last night, the DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving in the states, with a 4 day holiday for most in the US?

I don't know anything about Epass, but the timing on this looks sneaky as hell, or at the least, very poor judgement on their part. Either way, not good. . .

Epass had my account locked a week ago or so and have yet failed to inform me why, I have sent them documents 4 times and they reply with a standard pre-written message that I have to send documents every time. The support has been very bad and the lack of information very unprofessional.

I will phase out my use of epassporte and look for other services over the next few months.

i have an affiliate card from AWE that got the above message about feature changes, but i have a gift account as well, and that one did not get the message.

but the gift account used to be able to send and recieve money from other gift accounts, and now that is not working.. so who knows...

not a good situation and makes me wonder if my payments will be coming or not :(

Maybe it's affecting AWE accounts because they advertise the fact that they're handing out non-verified accounts in a very open manner. No wonder it attracts people who misuse epass gift accounts as they would use AWE just as a tool to get the card.

This rule change have happened because of the account type you have please email me your UserID to [email protected] and we will review your account on Monday and see if the restrictions can be lifted from your account.

Some people got on the phone with epass and they all got the same response.. The company who gave you the account needs to give permission to get funds trough other company's.

None of this shit would happen if epassporte would require more than a simple username and password to send money to other accounts.
Seems that security keys like fethard for example are something to discover in year 3000.
After all they come from the totally unsecure crap of epoch where the antifraud system allows more fraud transactions than legit ones.

I got my account restricted because of dumb reasons, I tried calling their support system but of no avail.

I messaged Michael O as my last resort, and he did the impossible :D he lifted all the restrictions and is working mighty fine again :D

If you have an epass problem, Michael O is your best bet :)
