Thats one of the main selling points of some major affiliates. (If your surfer ever bookmarks & decides to come back...)

Some site's only offer you a 48-hour deal on that though, which sucks...i think.

I wish the sponsors would make it a long last cookie that couldn't be over-written by someone elses affiliate code later down the line.

very true statement. I am not too concerned with ratios these days. What I tend to gravitate is content and marketing tools. Most webmaster programs dont tell you how long the cookie last but I think thats a very important factor in your sales
