Need some Dedicated Hosting Advice!!! PACIFIC RACK vs WEBAIR

Hi Guys!, after one listing at "The Hun" melted by puny virtual account at servage (and loosing much of the traffic due to restrictions) I'm now seriously wanting to move to a dedicated box.

I have a Webair virtual acc and I was offered the following dedicated:

P4 3.0GHz
1GB RAM
160GB SATA
2000GB Transfer
24x7x365 Support
Fully Managed
$0 Setup
$129 Monthly

Now, I'm really tempted to take Pacific Rack's dedicated offer which is:

CPU1: Intel P4 2.8 Ghz
[1x2.8Ghz, 512KB Cache]
RAM: 1GB DDR
HDD: 120GB 7200RPM
Bandwidth: 2000GB
Switch Port: 100 Mbit
24x7x365 Support
Free Setup
$79 Monthly

.... I'd be inclined to go with PR since there is not much difference other than the $50/mo ... SO I want to get some feedback from people hosting at Pacific Rack.......I don't need feedback from Webair since I currently have an acc with them and they are really nice..

Another thing.......it seems that webair's is fully managed but I have no idea as to whether or not PR is managed........whut's the difference if someone could tell me?.........also, what admin system is the best? Cpanel, MyCP, Direct Admin?...

As far as OS I'd go with something Linux Based, most likely Ubuntu...

If there is someone from PR around hit me up!......ICQ 266-990-876

If you get hacked or exploited managed could come in handy.

Dude just remember you get what you pay for. At 79.00 bucks and thats for some BW and the server??...LOL it will take a year or more just for the host to break even, so when you have issues dont ask yourself why...

Do you need to have a contract for a certain time frame with any of those 2?

I agree with the sentiment that you get what you pay for....but those are some really old servers that have probably already been paid for a couple times over.

I added you and messaged you yesterday, I haven't been in front of ICQ for the better part of the day so if you responded and added me today then I haven't been able to reply yet.

Been with servage... they blow chunks.

You don't need dedicated, you need a solid host who can provide a virtual acct with solid uptime. Hit me up on ICQ and i'll let you know.

p.s. I've had multiple listings on TheHun and never flinched for a second.
