This guy is ruining my SEO traffic on Yahoo. For some reason his site is coming up #3 when you search my site and he gave it the worst review of any site out there which is funny that he's so critical when he has like the worst review site out. What's this guys problem he even gave Video Box a 73? He gives everyone a bad review except a few sites to try to get everyone to just join those sites. What's worst is he claims I have slow download speeds and telling the world that when I got fast download speeds at other sites and have a top of the line setup.

As a paysite owner it's your responsibility to protect your brand, and this includes search engines... If someone who doesn't like your site is ranking for your name, all that means is you should have more domains and focus on a good seo strategy.

As for this particular review site, have you contacted the owner directly?

Did you submit your site for a review with them?

It looks like they review mostly sites submitted.

You sort of roll the dice when you do submit for a review. Did you contact them to see if the issue they had with your site was something that was a one-time occurrence, like a slow stream because of some other problem? Was it a content issue or update related?

May want to ask them to take another look.

May want to take a hard look at the problems they had and ask around to see if anyone else feels the same way, then treat it like good constructive criticism and address the issues, if there actually are any.

Review sites are also subject to the opinions of the people reviewing, regardless of their claims of being impartial. Maybe they just weren't into what you're doing.

At the least, I would ask them to remove the review. Maybe they will.
