I only use feeds on a new blog to get an ass load of posts, then it's hand written after that

i just post one or two as a way for online now cam rss feeds to go back to the top when they are online.

There's a time and a place for both. I wouldn't use sponsor provided RSS feeds without spinning them first, not worth the risk of dupe content penalties on a site which you want to be around for the long term.

I think a half-automated system is good. Create your own RSS feeds from FHG (those which are offered together with descriptions) with tools like Gallery Scraper. Import them into Blogs Automater and post them to as many blogs as possible... BUT: Change those descriptions either by inserting them in excel and search/replace works like for example boobs into tits, girls into babes and so on or use the integrated word-rewriter in Blogs Automater. If you have the time it would be also a big benefit when adding text to each description...

This would be the way to go if you're not to lazy to create an established, text-rich blog with all unique text, like for example orsm.net :-)

My hand written blogs out perform the rss splogs by far in both traffic & amount of sales..

RSS splogs for some reason only attract freeloaders

of course they out perform rss splogs but the question is does one of your blog out perform 1000 splogs... Because comparing one normal blog with one splog wouldn't make sense

i do both

i keep up a handful of hand written blogs and have an ever growing network of rss feeds blogs. I've done well using a mix of rss feeds on the splogs.
