which period is due?

I understand the U.S. had a holiday last Monday...but that never explained why my last weeks check was late, since it was sent 7 days prior, so the holiday in the U.S. had no effect. That means that a check that normally takes 7 days to arrive took 14. I would think that since they send the last one out one day late, it will probably take 3 weeks for this one to arrive. LOL

Finike 11-20-2007 12:38 AM

I live in Austria and all my CCBill checks arrived in time (+/- 1 day)
MY bank processing fees for wire transfer are higher than for check clearance.

Snake Doctor 11-20-2007 12:42 AM

Talk about crying wolf.

The thread title is just a tad overboard.

2012 11-20-2007 12:59 AM

the fact that they pay every week kicks ass. I've never waited more then 2 weeks for a late check ...

chillax

Mutt 11-20-2007 01:22 AM

i was raised to appreciate the value of a dollar. i can wait for a check, even if my CCBILL checks were 6 figures I'd still wait the 4 or 5 days for the check rather than waste $2,000 a year on wire fees.

I still dont have last weeks check...I know Monday was a holiday and its the postal services fault blah blah but the fact is this is somethiong that is long past due for your customers.

Every other billing company does it, I dont really want to move but if you dont stop treating us like you dont care then I am going to. Sure it wont effect your bottom line much but if a few more of us leave it will and I can assure you that once Im gone I wont be back.

I have asked for this time and time again as have others and we never get an answer out of you.

How about it CCBill? We deserve a straight answer

Why don't you pay the $15 and have it FedEx'd like everyone else does

MrPinks 11-20-2007 09:05 AM

why should I pay CCBill almost 1300 dollars a year MORE than what they already charge to pay me money that is MINE?

Paycom is the same ... 30.00 a week = 1560.00 /yr

Then my bank was charging $ 16.00 to receive it ( when they were not plainly returning it ... ), so $ 832.00 /yr

Total to receive my money : 2392.00

I switched to check ( mainly because of my bank screwing up returning the wires ) and I get it normally the Tuesday instead of the wire the previous Friday ... big deal.

Verotel ( well when I used Verza ) was doing it ... ach.

DirtyDanza 11-20-2007 09:46 AM

Mike you could alway get your own merchant then your sales are in the account as you get them....

and hinesight..

your paying 30 bucks a week to make money on the internet... how cool is that man... think of it if you did hair at a salon you'd have to pay rent for your station there...

if you work in construction you have to buy your own tools and drive to work on your dollar...

if you really think of it.. 30 bucks is a very very small price to pay to be able to make the money we do on the internet... think of it... 50 yers ago.. rich business men all over the world would gladly pay 30 bucks a week to make unlimited amount of money each week from the net....

see cause no matter weather your wire is 100 bucks or 50k it's still only 30 bucks.. if I told you each week.. hey mike give me 30 bucks ill give you 50k would you do it?

and to the people that pay to recive a wire into your account...

wake up it's 2007... you tell them to wave all wire fee's they will do it... I havent met one bank yet that keeps charging you for incomming wires once you ask them to stop..

and I have accounts with the major ones in america

my main bank is US Bank.. then I do a little with wells fargo and a little with b of a but wf and o of a suck....

also if you go into your bank and sign up for wires over the phone. so you can send wires over the phone without having to go and fill out information each time... then your outgoing wire fee's go down to 6 bucks...

so stop paying the fee's your letting a billion dollar company take advantage of you.. talk about ccbill.. there not the prob here.. peope who pay to recive a wire at their own bank is the prob....

that reminds when I was banking with a bank here called nevada federal.. I walked in and asked for a money order for like 17 bucks and she said ok yeah 6 bucks... I said better yet give me all the cash in the account and close it

I can't say that, they do answer, and they are friendly on the phone, at least with me they are.

I have noticed delays in CC checks too, in the past couple of weeks. I was never paying any attention to it, but this time, for some reason, I did. While we were investigating the problem online, we found out that a check from 5 weeks ago hadn't arrived. We had them issue a new check (20 $ fee).

The missing check is not necessarily CC Bill's fault, it could very well be our great USPS, who loses shit left and right. WE did find out about another problem, though.

The problem with missing checks is, as we found out over the phone, that CC Bill won't contact you if a check is not cashed, and you don't report it missing. I always thought they'd do something after 180 days, like send and e-mail to make you aware of unclaimed proceeds, but they don't. This means we have to check at least once every couple of months to see if all the checks arrived, or they might disappear permanently in accounting nirvana.

When I used to run a site using verotel with ACH I would usually have my ACH payments posted the day of or the day before they mailed out checks.

CCBill promised ACH years ago and now is saying it's not in the plans.

I'd sure love to know where the hell the 14% ends up.

Hi mike, this is mark from ccbill. We had considered offering ach, but at this point, there are no plans to implement a new system such as this in the near future. I know this is not the answer you had wanted to hear but perhaps we can consider some other options. One way to get your payments quicker other than a wire, is a fedex sent directly to your bank.

But lets talk, hit me up on icq if you like, maybe we can find a way to accommodate your needs with what we currently have

Mark,

Have you considered paying out through Epassporte?

C_U_Next_Tuesday 11-21-2007 05:27 AM

If any company uses direct deposit..that just means they have to cut out the income of having your money making interest for them for those days or weeks its sits in some high yield account somewhere instead of your bank account.
