    CCBILL 'checks' join link

I was trying to add some new join links to a page and I noticed that when linking as a partner to a paysite using CCBILL's online check signup page.. my partner referrer ID doesn't carry over !

    Hmmm...

    Let's take

    refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=111111&PA=XXXXXX&HTML=https://www.ccbill.com/checks/cgi-bin/display_signup.cgi?cmd=111111%7C0000%7Csignupck000 0.htm

If it contained the correct accounts in there and you looked at the source of the display_signup.cgi, there wouldn't be your partner ID 'xxxxxx', anywhere on that page. However, if you add %26referer=xxxxxx at the end of the link.. the partner ID shows up under a hidden input 'referer'.

In order to get credited for check joins.. do we have to add that referer=xxxxxx at the end of the checks join link ?

Post a link to the join page of the site you're talking about - I mean the page where you click "Charge My Bank Account". In the source of that page should be a hidden form element with your CC Bill account number, I think.

      Something like this:

      < form action='https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/signup.cgi' method=POST>
      < input type=hidden name=clientAccnum value='YOUR_ACCOUNT'>
      < input type=hidden name=clientSubacc value='YOUR_SUBACCCOUNT'>
      < input type=hidden name=formName value='9ck'>
      < input type=hidden name=allowedTypes value='0000000015' >
      < input type=submit name=submit value='Charge My Bank Account'>
      < /form>

it's not my paysite bud so i'm not using a form to send join traffic.

i send traffic to a custom tour then send directly to ccbill join page via a href links.

so my links are always refer.ccbill.com ... blah.

question was if my partner ID is carried and counted for when using the checks signup page. (i do see the partner ID embedded in the credit card join page)

I thought they set cookies. When i redirect someone with the click.cgi program it ended up sending them directly back to my site without any sort of ccbill code.

The new ccbill script will only work on the owners site. I had a run with a partner who had a join button on his domain and when we switched to the new cgi script it wouldn't work.

I could be wrong but I belive that when you go through ccbill they set a cookie like this for netscape
                  .ccbill.com TRUE / FALSE 1054637975 0CCC_CTP_NFO_CA 900xxx-1111%7C

                  .ccbill.com TRUE / FALSE 1054637975 0CCC_CTP_NFO_PA xxxxxx
the cookie expires after 4 days but if someone goes to sign up with ccbill their script reads this cooke to get the afilliate id out of the cookie then they use it to credit the reffering webmaster

IBill also uses cookies. I believe you need to URLEncode the HTML parameter. It would look somthing like this:

                      https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eccbill%2Ecom%2Fchecks%2Fcgi%2D bin%2Fdisplay%5Fsignup%2Ecgi%3Fcmd%3D111111%7C0000 %7Csignupck0000%2Ehtm

And yes, the referer parameter does take the affiliate id.
