I mean seriously, it seems that when I read through dramas, that on this board, being drunk seems to be an excuse that everyone uses... I mean... REALLY?

The sad thing is, I think people on this board get drunk and says things 10x worse than he ever said in a 'tirade'

I'm not sure.

I was in front of a Judge for beating two guys down (for no apparent reason). The two dudes were both hospitalized. I tried to explain to the Judge that I was drunk the time, but he didn't seem to care about that detail of my explanation. I also threw out the fact that I was drunk right then (while I was in front of the Judge) to see if that detail would help me, but it didn't seem to help at all. In fact, I suspect he knew I was drunk while I was talking to him because I think I had all the tell tale signs.

Drinking doesn't make you do things you don't want to, it just gives you the courage to say/do the things you wouldn't have the courage to say/do otherwise.

Bring drunk is an excuse for doing stupid things. But that only works for people who weren't already stupid to begin with. This makes Mel Gibson using it irrelevant.
