That is blatant murder if they were threatening him then it would have been different.Theres the law of the land and what's right and wrong and that was wrong and just killing in cold blood you have to show some restraint otherwise all you do is turn a place more into a vigiliante state.

Bottom Line, if you choose to go break into someone's home or steal the thing's outside, you no longer have to keep an eye out for the rightful owner, you now have to look out for the neighbor with a shot gun.

Frankly, I have no hard feelings for the two LOSER'S that are dead. Get a job and buy your own stuff, like most working people!

As far as the legality of what he did, it seems that he was defending his neighbor's property rather than his own property. I'm assuming the law there is clear about whether it's legal or not. Whatever the law is, it should stick, regardless of our personal feelings about his actions.

According to the Houston Chronicle the guy is a 65 year old computer tech living with his daughter and granddaughter. Guy was scared but felt it was his duty to do something as the criminals were leaving and the cops were not there yet.

Really, the big question should be "why aren't we giving the homeowner the benefit of doubt"
