As a side bar to my previous post:

I was considering starting a MGP as opposed to a TGP. I figure movies = happier visitors, more clicks, etc.

Is this true?

Can you use normal TGP traffic scripts for MGP?

What bandwidth would I use in a month for a startup? Would a fairly successful one use over 500gb/month? 1tb/month?

30gb/day seems like a high end for me.

why would you use 500gb a month? (to start)
you will not host the movies/galleries you just have links to them right?

depends on you..
most movieposts offer their own set of free movies to promote their sponsor/avs so you're gonna need some hosting as well..

if you're going to run a moviepost, expect lots of hits, bandwidth will kill you. it's more like 30gb an hour..

check out most of the big movieposts and you'll see that they have their free movies hosted on aol, terra.es accounts..

but still, movieposts bring in more money that tgps..
