He's 32 or 33 I think. It's a longer contract than I would think would be worth offering, but as long as he stays healthy, he could still play into his early 40's. I wouldn't of offered him anything longer than 6 years, but until I own a team I guess it doesn't really matter.

If I was the Yankees, I'm not sure if I'd want him back. He was a greedy asshole that pretty much told the Yankees to fuck off if they're not gonna offer him $350 million, thinking someone else would, but then once he was out on his own and nobody would step up and pay him the money he wanted, he then crawled back to the Yankees willing to negotiate.
