Video streaming from cameras
Hey guys
I bought a digital 8 camera and wanted to stream video from it to my computer to record. I have s-video port and firewire Which is better? firewire or s-video? Thanks

firewire gives the best quality by far - it's digital to digital.

groovy i was thinking firewire is quite good, but wasn't sure
off to buy a firewire cable for it  thanks

s-video is an analog format. switching from digital, to analog, and then back to digital again, results in a loss of quality.
firewire allows importing of digital video without loss :) |
